For Race Directors

USA Triathlon offers a number of support opportunities for race directors across the country, including sanctioning and USAT event calendar listing. Marketing and partnership opportunities, fluid replacement, low-cost swim caps, signage packages and continuing education in the latest issues and trends for safe and effective event management are also available to sanctioned event directors.

The U.S. is divided into 10 Regional Federations that provide benefits to multisport athletes on a local level. About Events

The USAT National Events Department oversees a wide range of areas and projects that are aimed at improving events and programs from a grassroots to professional level for all members. Various programs within the National Events Department include owning and producing National Championship events, overseeing USAT Club Development, managing Team USA and much more.

Elite Triathlon Academy

On June 7, USA Triathlon announced the creation of the Elite Triathlon Academy, a new development program for young triathletes about to enter college. This unique program is a first for the sport of triathlon in the U.S. and provides necessary resources for athletes to pursue triathlon at the elite level while receiving a college education.
