The Sport Factory Named USAT Certified Performance Center

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon has announced that The Sport Factory in Roswell, Ga., is now a USAT Certified Performance Center.

Performance centers serve as CEU locations for certified coaches, provide free access to 2012 and 2016 Elite National Team members, and provide performance testing using USOC protocols and benchmarks. The Sport Factory is located between Alpharetta Highway and GA 400 just off of Hembree Road.

"We are excited to have a partnership that offers members, coaches and athletes in the Southeast Region a facility that has state of the art performance testing, access to USAT certified coaches and a focus on junior development," said Linda Cleveland, USA Triathlon's coach development manager. "The Sport Factory is a great facility within the Roswell community for multisport enthusiasts of all ages."

"The Sport Factory has met the requirements of USA Triathlon to become one of only five USAT Certified Performance Centers in the country, said Matt Russ, president of The Sport Factory. "Our goal is to help identify and develop promising triathletes for entrance into elite performance programs and teams."
