I know Ipods are not permitted. However, are HRM permitted such the ones which link to your Timex Ironman watch? I do not see them mentioned in prohibited items but wondering if a number of athletes wear them. Thanks! |

Hi John: Heart rate monitors (HRM) are permitted and may be linked to other devices such as your watch. However, in no case may a headset or ear-buds be used in conjunction with the HRM or any other device. — Charlie Crawford, USA Triathlon commissioner of officials |
