The primary objective of a regional federation is to assist in the development and growth of triathlon and duathlon within the designated states of the region. A regional federation is like a microcosm of the national office, giving athletes more of a voice and say of what goes on at the local level.
Each of the 10 regions has a Regional Athlete Development Coordinator (RADC) who is in charge of promoting athlete development in his or her region. The RADCs work with Youth, Junior, Under 23, and collegiate athletes to provide them with opportunities to participate in and learn more about the sport of triathlon.
